Postmodern High-Back Chair

Regular price €1.350,00 EUR

This monumental high-back chair embodies the experimental spirit of Italian Postmodernism. With its exaggerated proportions, graphic geometry, and commanding silhouette, it reflects the visual language that emerged around Studio Alchimia and the Memphis movement during the 1980s, when furniture became a vehicle for ideas as much as function.

Constructed in black laminate with applied geometric profiles, the chair is defined by its interplay of form, texture, and shadow. Every angle reveals a different composition, giving the piece an architectural presence that extends well beyond its practical use.

Designed to anchor a space rather than disappear into it, it works as a functional sculpture within an interior—an object that brings scale, character, and a strong point of view.
