OP Kilim No. 2 Square by Magda Jurek
OP Kilim No. 2 Square transforms a ceramic design system into a handwoven textile. Built from geometric forms that shift and interact across the surface, the composition feels both playful and carefully balanced, revealing new relationships between colour and shape the longer it is observed.
Designed by Magda Jurek, founder of Pani Jurek Studio, the kilim originates from the OP tile system, a collection of modular ceramic elements conceived as an open-ended tool for creating patterns. Reimagined in textile form, the same visual language becomes softer and more tactile while retaining its graphic clarity and sense of movement.
Handwoven in Poland using traditional kilim techniques, each piece in the OP series is unique. The result is a textile that sits comfortably between art, design, and craft, bringing colour, rhythm, and a distinctive point of view to an interior.
