A large hand-painted ceramic vase defined by an exuberant, sculptural form and a bold, hand-painted motif. Standing at 36 cm in height and 30 cm wide, its presence is immediate—broad in stance, generous in volume, and unapologetically expressive. The decoration moves across the surface with a dramatic, almost theatrical rhythm, amplifying the curvature rather than containing it. This is a statement piece—designed to anchor a space, whether holding branches or standing entirely on its own.
Patrizio Chiucchiù is based in Deruta, a town long associated with Italian ceramic production. His work carries that lineage forward with a distinct sense of gesture and identity. Even in name, there is a kind of emphasis—Chiucchiù, a repetition that feels rhythmic, almost percussive. That same quality carries into the work: forms that are assertive, surfaces that are unafraid of contrast, and a visual language that leans into expression rather than restraint. Rooted in tradition but pushed toward something more personal, his pieces hold a confidence that is both direct and unmistakable.
