A bowl defined by a continuous, rounded curve that opens gradually from base to rim. The silhouette is simple but deliberate, with a balanced proportion that gives it presence without excess. Its open form makes it adaptable—suited for serving, display, or as a decorative object in the kitchen. It works as a centrepiece, but just as easily as a resting place for fruit, objects, or nothing at all—its presence is enough.
Ivo Angel is a ceramic studio based in Cortona, Tuscany, producing small-batch pieces rooted in traditional techniques. Their work begins with familiar, almost classical forms, which are then contrasted with vivid, expressive finishes—colour applied with a sense of movement against otherwise calm, controlled surfaces. The result sits somewhere between restraint and release, where each piece feels both composed and slightly unpredictable.
